Pelotas – Rio Grande do Sul, May 4 to 9, 2009.

The Microelectronics School (EMicro) is a traditional event in the Microelectronics area developed on the southern region of Brazil. This year EMicro will complete 10 years and it will be organized by UFPel, UNIPAMPA and CEFET-RS. Several Microelectronics courses will compose the program of this 24th edition.

EMicro main goals are:
  • To promote and bring together researchers in a variety of topics within the field of Microelectronics;
  • To create the opportunity to students and professionals to get involved in the forefront research topics on Microelectronics;
  • To promote the main academic activities developed by the local research community by integrating the Computer Science and Electronics áreas;
  • To provide a discussion forum concerning qualification of human resources in the area of Microelectronics, which is necessary to develop local electronics and IT companies, as well as service sectors.
